Each one is part of my Sacred Shields series: miniature abstract paintings infused with Shungite powder, layered textures, and intuitive marks made with intention and care. Shungite is known for its grounding, purifying, and EMF-protective properties—a rare carbon-based mineral that’s over 2 billion years old, used for centuries for its ability to balance energy and block harmful frequencies.
I don’t follow a formula when I make these. I let each one reveal itself, building up rich textures, colour, and energy as I go. No two are ever the same—each one feels like a tiny portal: grounding, calming, and quietly powerful.
