Inspired by the hidden beauty in everyday moments — in this case, the soft, accidental palette of a paint-soaked studio tea towel — this piece speaks to the quiet magic we often overlook.
Painted in layers of chalk and mineral pigment, it weaves together tones of violet, teal, sea-glass green, and golden ochre, like a drifting current beneath a pale, misted surface. It hints at sea-silk floating through deep water, the curve of a whale’s tail disappearing into the blue, and the hush of the ocean just before the tide shifts.
